Terms and Conditions
1. Scope of Services
Pillar Prep provides physical training, coaching, and performance-related services. These services are educational and physical in nature and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
2. Health, Safety & Client Responsibility
Participation in physical training involves inherent risks, including but not limited to muscle soreness, fatigue, or injury. By purchasing or participating in any service, the client confirms that they are medically fit to engage in physical activity or have obtained prior medical clearance from a qualified healthcare professional.
The client agrees to provide accurate and complete information regarding their health status and to follow all safety instructions and coaching guidelines. A medical certificate of non-contraindication is strongly recommended prior to participation.
3. Professional Responsibility
Pillar Prep commits to delivering services with due care and professionalism, in accordance with applicable professional standards. The coach cannot be held responsible for injuries or damages resulting from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the client, misuse of exercises, or failure to follow instructions.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under French law, particularly in cases of bodily injury resulting from professional fault.
4. Payments, Subscriptions & Withdrawal
Services may be offered as one-time purchases or subscriptions with automatic recurring payments, as specified at the time of purchase.
For distance contracts, the client benefits from a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal, unless they expressly request, in writing, that the service begin immediately before the end of the withdrawal period, in which case the right of withdrawal no longer applies to services already performed.
Once the service has started, payments are non-refundable except where required by law, including cases of force majeure or long-term medical incapacity duly justified by a medical certificate.
Subscriptions may be temporarily paused in cases of illness, injury, or vacation upon written request sent to pillarprep@outlook.com. Pauses do not entitle the client to a partial or pro-rated refund.
The client may terminate a subscription at any time to prevent future renewals by sending a written request by email. Termination takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
5. Data Protection
Only personal data strictly necessary for the provision of services is collected and processed. This may include contact details (name, email address, phone number) and relevant health-related information voluntarily provided by the client for safety and coaching purposes.
Personal data is processed solely for the following purposes:
-
delivery and management of coaching services,
-
communication with clients,
-
administrative and legal obligations.
Data is processed on the legal basis of contract performance and, where applicable, the client’s explicit consent. Personal data is retained for a maximum period of three (3) years following the end of the contractual relationship, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), clients have the right to:
-
access their personal data,
-
request rectification or erasure,
-
request restriction of processing,
-
object to processing,
-
request data portability, where applicable.
These rights may be exercised at any time by contacting pillarprep@outlook.com.
No personal data is sold or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.
6. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by French law. Any dispute shall fall under the jurisdiction of the competent French courts.
